Life Size Computer Mods

I found this while surfing for some interesting articles on custom anime computer mods. I have to say this took some great imagination and planning. These were done by Katsuya Matsumura several years ago, but you would think they were done just recently. Some of the designs were done by other artist that worked to create these pieces.

He worked with plastic tubing, Styrofoam, paints and all the wondrous electronics of the day. You will see that these were built very meticulously had with great patience. He has a eye for details that leave you gasping at how well they have been constructed.

For being done in 2002 to 2005, I think he did a marvelous job with the placement of the hardware.
Some of these would be quite practical while others would be just damn cool to have next to your desk while working. Here are some of the examples that I especially liked:

Gundam RX-78 Construction

Gundam RX-78 Final (2002)

Maya Internal Workings

Maya Final (2003)

Kana Internal Workings

Kana Final (2004)

On the Beach Internal Workings

On the Beach Final (2005)
