Looks like there was an Earthquake the other day in Japan. Actually it looks like it hit Shizuoka Prefecture in central Japan and its vicinity. This included the Tokyo metropolitan area. There are only 20 people reported injured. They even did a shutdown of a couple of the nuclear reactors in Shizuoka prefecture.
There are reports that it was a magnitude from 6.5 to 6.9. They use their own scale as noted below and it only hit a 4 on the scale.
Hell even Jessica Simpson tweeted about it.
We only get the seasonal Hurricanes here in South Florida. Just found one was developing now off the Africa Coast heading or way. We have had a mild year so far and am hoping it stays that way.
What type of natural disasters hit your area?
